So, the last time I made a Darling Girl order, they were out of glitter glue. I’ve been a longtime fan of Pixie Epoxy, but given recent difficulties with ordering from Fyrinnae, I’ve been looking for an alternative. Thus, when I saw that the Glitter Glue was back in stock, I made an order pretty much instantly, along with some new shadows because I was so impressed with the last ones.
Every once in a while, I try to order something from a company I’ve never heard of. (It helps if they are also in Canada and have wicked cheap shipping.) Thus, I ended up ordering from Pure Fusion Cosmetics. They’ve got a lot going for them, including about 200 colours of eyeshadow, but I did manage to pick out a few things I wanted.
I GOT THE NOTORIOUSLY MORBID GEL LINERS YOU GUYS. Really, this post could end off there, since I’m still excited. For reference, they sold out in less than a day after release. If I had waited until I had come back from work to order them, I wouldn’t have them. But I do and I’m very happy with myself.
I decided to make another PBLC order, since I decided I really couldn’t live without Indigo Bridge in my life. One thing that it’s important to note is that the TAT right now is basically “when it gets there.” There isn’t any listed on the site, and I’ve seen people asking when their orders are being shipped out because it seemed like a long time with no communication. Now, I’ve also heard of people requesting to have their stuff flown out faster for events and Kim obliging, but if you’re shy like me, it might be a bit of a wait.
I think I have to sit in the Bad Blogger time-out chair. I’m two whole collections behind in my Notoriously Morbid reviews. (No worries, I have half of the Slay Me collection ordered, along with the upcoming gel liners that I didn’t know would sell out so fast, so I can safely move to the Slightly Less Negligent Blogger futon.) Someday I will be a super famous blogger and get sent makeup before it comes out, but until then, I’m sure we’ll all deal.
Silk Naturals is one of those companies that I kept hearing about as recommendations for everything. Eyeshadow, lipstick, skincare, hair stuff- they appear to have it all. Really, the only reason I waited so long to make an order was because I don’t have much interest in a Naked palette dupe and none of their lipsticks are blue and that’s what makes decisions for me. That said, an order was made with much hemming and hawing about how I had to settle for black lipstick and my life is so HARD.
