Okay, so disclaimer, I actually don’t know how to use blush. Like, at all. I’m awful. I go like “haha I don’t use blush because I’m too goth!” but really I just mess it up every time. It’s partially because I’m kinda pasty, partially because of no practice, and partially because until relatively recently I was using a repurposed eyeshadow brush to apply it. But I was like “ehhh time to learn I guess if I’m gonna be a legit makeup blogger” so here I am with a bunch of MPZ samples to figure out what I like.
Whoomph, that’s a hell of a title. At any rate, here’s my review before the month is officially out.
For Shiro’s anniversary sale, I ended up making a little order to to try out the gloss in moderate, among a few other things. I had noticed that swatches of moderate glosses seemed to be pretty opaque, so I figured, might as well give it a go.
This is actually two Darling Girl orders that I made, one of which was for a sale or something and the other because I really really wanted some red gel eyeliner. I should note that the customer service was pretty good- they ended up being sent together, and Susan noticed that I had a few duplicate items. She e-mailed me to ask if I wanted to make any substitutions, which I did because I am pretty scatterbrained.
Hello, internet makeup friends! First, my apologies for not posting as much of late. I was ridiculously busy, and then when my schedule cleared up, I found myself where I currently am- housesitting, where the only computer I have access to runs Windows XP. As a result, I don’t exactly have access to my regular photo editor program or usual fonts. So, you know, if you read my blog for the font choice, sorry. But let me know if there’s anything weird about this post in the formatting, and I’ll try to fix it.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about Life’s Entropy recently, which is why I let the blogger pack I ordered sit in a drawer for like a month. (In my defense, the shop was closed for most of that time.) Oops. This is apparently how lax I get when school is back in session.
I’ve always been more or less satisfied with the samples of Fyrinnae’s lip lustres I’ve tried, and am a fan of blue lips. Given these two facts, when Fyrinnae released their newest lip lustres, and one of them was blue, I decided this would be the day I owned a full-size.
